Our main interest is to deepen understanding of the Theravadan teachings of the historical person we call the Buddha and to enhance our individual Vipassana meditation practices.
Our community is composed of a diversity of people who appreciate the openness the Buddhist teachings to all religions and spiritual traditions and the relevance of the teachings to our daily lives.
We are a peer-led sangha and draw on the insights of a variety of traditions including the 2500+ year old Buddhist Theravadan teachings. Sangha members volunteer to lead our Tuesday morning sitting, which includes meditation and discussion.
After our Meditation Sitting and Class on the first Tuesday of each month, all are invited to bring a lunch and join together after the presentation for an informal social/fellowship time.
